This year the French Knotting Weekend will be held in the main hall of the "Grenier à sel" (Salt Barn) in Honfleur (Calvados).

1000 years old, Honfleur, an estuary harbour located in the Seine mouth in front of Le Havre, is the jewel of the Auge country. It is renowned for its picturesque old dock and ancient houses covered with slates. It has also been a popular subject for artists.

Both 'Grenier à sel" have been classified 'Historical Monuments" since 1916 and were restored in the seventies. Today, they host numerous cultural events.
